This weekend went by too fast.
I got my new (used) car today! It's a 2001 Mazda Protege. As I drove it home, I turned it over to 29000 miles. Now I just have to get rid of the Geo before my neighbors get mad that it's parked on the street with no plates.

My mind is like a complete blank. Eh. Basically not much noteworthy happening these days. Oh well. [source: the apathetic online journal entry generator.]
I was just noting to a co-worker that in the last 2 months, I've had more minutes in meetings than during the entire previous year. I'm used car shopping. It's kind of a drag because I don't know what's wrong with my current car; but I do know that I'm tired of it.
Oh, and I'm wearing a long, denim skirt today. I wish you could all see it because it's something that happens about as often as I wear swimsuits (once in the last 8 years).
male dogs sometimes get in a mood where they want to try something interesting on your leg? Well, apparently male ferrets do it, too, only to their cagemate instead of your leg. It's quite amusing.
Dr. Atkins passed away. It's only interesting to me because a handful of my extended family has recently taken up his famous diet.

So, I got up all early for no reason, and decided that today was the day I would set up a PayPal shop on my site. I'll call it bekeeboutique
I can't think of anything really exciting to say today. So I thought I'd blog it. :)
For dinner last night:
Bekee's Kinda Mexi
3 flour tortillas (6")
1 cup white onion, diced
2 roma tomatoes, diced
1 can vegetarian refried beans
1 cup grated pepperjack cheese
Embasa green chile salsa
Preheat oven to 350.
Lightly spray a 12" glass pie pan. Spread beans onto one tortilla. Place tortilla in pan and layer with half the onions, half the tomatoes, as much salsa as you want and a third of the cheese. Repeat with second tortilla. Spread beans on third tortilla and place bean-side down on the top of the stack. Top with cheese and salsa. Loosely cover pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Take foil off and bake for another 10 minutes. Slice into quarters and serve. Good with Horchata.

Every once in a while, I get a rash of ex's and old friends trying to contact me. They usually come in threes, so I'll wait to report the rest. I guess that's a downfall of having the same phone number for my entire adult life.
... to have to be at work on a day like today. I'll just stare at this all day.

It looked like the lack of blogging was messing up the design of this page. Some day I'll get it right; and then the next day, I'll get it right in Netscape. Not much to report. Davehat#1 has been started, then Mikething#1 will start. I was unaware of the need for Martinhat#1. He'll get one before next winter's frost, though I'll have to discuss it with him, first. :) Luckily, for all involved, I've made it possible to take a mental health day tomorrow. Hopefully the weatherpeople are getting paid enough to get it as right as I've been told.
I've been putting off a mental health day since my boss is out on a photoshoot. It's always better if at least one of us is in the office. Unfortunately, she's out til April 23rd. :(
Pictures are on their way. I finished Bob's hat on... Wednesday, I think. I started Kurthat#2 on Friday before laundry and finished it by 4 on Saturday. I started Joehat#2 on Sunday as the race began and I finished it 3.25 hours later as the race ended. *crazy knitter*

Everyone who works in an office should be thinking to themselves, "I wish we had a wireless network here at my great cubeland job." If you're not thinking that, there's something entirely wrong with you.
