fun times!
here's my new chair: ikea wasn't really fun. it was a lot of stuff to look at and i got frustrated early on because this chair, which i've had my eyes on for a while, wasn't in the showroom for me to testdrive. thankfully they had one out and assembled on the bottom floor near its aisle. i haven't knitted in it yet, but i will be doing that soon. i've gone too long without knitting. but! there are three new things in the boutique for you to look at and buy. they're the first three if you go in order.

I feel much the same way that you do about Ikea. In theory, it's pretty fun. But in practice, it's so damn overwhelming. I end up having to go back and put half my junk back on the shelves because I've either picked out way too much or didn't realize until I was in the basement that I have no actual need for any of it. Or both.
Still, my desk, bookshelves, couch, chair, bed, kitchen table and lamp are all from that Scandinavian palace of design bargains.
