They're supposed to be finishing up tomorrow--there were signs at the Dayton St. bus stops yesterday. 'Course, it'll probably be another week before people get used to things being normal again.

Have you ever tried the north route? You'd have to head a bit east to go west (which seems counter-productive) but it's a nice scenic route without too much traffic. Most days, anyway. Trees, marshes, restored prairie, corn fields. I like it. I head east on Johnson, past the Dane Cty airport to Hwy M, and then left on M which turns into Airport Rd. in Middleton. Stay on the same road (past airport #2) and it leads to the back entrance of our beloved (snicker) business park. It takes me about 30 minutes.
