oh! i forgot
i emailed quizno's this past monday to express my disdain for their new advert campaign. i said it was gross and that i'd probably never eat anything prepared by them again (not that i have as yet). i got a typed letter from them which basically said that they did research and the participants are loyal quizno's customers, they enjoy new experiences, are outside of the norm, appreciate humor, and don't identify with mainstream advertising. i am all of those things (except a loyal customer), and i still think the commercials are gross.

I totally agree with you...they are the grossest commercials I've ever seen. I refuse to eat there now!

lol i love those commercials. first time i saw one i almost peed my pants and was like "rad that they're marketing to late-night-comedy-central-watching-stoners". and then i was like "i am the target audience." heh. i laugh my ass off every time.

at first I was mortified, then fascinated. there was an article last week in the nytimes about them. you probably already know this, but just in case not: they're called the Spongmonkeys from some guy's blog rathergood.com So of course I checked out the blog and it's really disturbing. I don't really know what to think, but I suspect this is not a good thing... right?
