this makes me want a cat: cats in sinks
every weekday am, i have my 9 o'clock yogurt. i decided to try a new kind, silk key lime, but when i opened it up, there was a big blob of mold in it. so now i don't get to have my 9 o'clock yogurt.
well, a clean bill, i guess. no cavities.. but a lot of deposit from flossing infrequently. the dentist was really nice.. perhaps he knew not to give a 28 year old who still has facial piercings any lectures about their possible effects on enamel. amazingly, the hygenist got two stains off that occurred during my braces' life. she gets two gold stars for that.
this is a plaque that i mod podged during crafty saturday with a conversation between two fishermen. a similar thing used to hang on the summer-trailer wall where gramma and grampa would go to fish in prairie du chein.

i ordered from edo last night. but this time, i got the chef's choice sashimi special. which was 14 pieces for $14. plus soup and salad omg. so i think i have a new favorite that doesn't cost alot. the chef's choice was 3 pieces each of salmon, maguro, and albacore, 2 pieces of crab, one amaebi (shrimp), and two tamago (egg). yum.
i also just got this bag from onlineshoes.com: as i mentioned a while ago but ebags was out and didn't offer to contact timbuk2. onlineshoes, on the other hand, placed my order directly with the manufacturer. i just had to wait a little longer.
in case anyone knows where my mom lives.. her house is okay.. but her yard is kinda messed up. she lives near 51 and b, but not so near that she had to endure the mess that a lot of other people had to.

i watched deliverance last night. it was on par with watching a train wreck. my jaw was to the ground often, my hand was over my mouth a couple times; but i couldn't stop. until 11:20 when i /had/ to go to bed. i'll probably watch the last 10-20 minutes when i get home.

i just made my first appointment for a dental cleaning in over 5 years. i used to <3 the dentist. i mostly stopped going because of insurance and being in college w/no money and the dentist being all the way in oregon. this one is 1 mi. from my house. oh, and so i don't forget, it's aug 29 at 3p.

i just bought this case for my ipod. i don't know if i'll use it all the time, but i think i need a change of pace. currently, with the iskin, i can't enjoy the ipod's design; though it's much safer in there. we'll see.

last night, kurt and i spent about a half hour chasing a bat around the basement. i was armed with a softball glove. neither of us wanted to catch it too hard cuz their wings are so fragile. we think he went in a hole in the chimney and got out..
i've kinda been on an unannounced diet.. sorta. not really calorie counting but kind of; not really cutting out certain foods, but kind of. so today, we went out for lunch, and instead of getting the salad bar (which i should have), i got a grilled cheese and fries. my stomach feels like someone filled it with wet sand. yuck.
we dog-sat this weekend, and for 2 hours on saturday, i went to a friends' cd release "party" at jolly bob's. he's from ghana, and his friends formed atimevu (which means "a drum made from a tree"). abu (my friend) made everyone get up and dance. it was strange since i haven't really danced in public since the last rave i attended. and it wasn't the middle of the day then.

i need to pay someone to come home with me on wednesday nights and remind me that edo does not have good sushi and i shouldn't order it /solely/ because they deliver; which is the best part of edo. their rolls aren't spectacular and they sometimes forget essentials, like wasabi.
and last week i had sushi with bob and ed at takara and it was the best thing ever because i tried the white tuna (albacore) so i though, "yum! that was good, i will order it from edo." BLECH. that is all.
the gosh darned screw fell out of my glasses and the lense fell out.
