found it.

i stopped dyeing my hair roughly 8 or 9 months ago and no one really noticed until recently, since my natural color is much darker than orange. i jokingly said i was growing it out to check for greys. well... i just found the first one. this doesn't help my mood re: significant birthday coming up.

Yes. Well, whenever I happen to find one of those, I tell myself they're "light blonde" to keep from fainting.

I'm sorry you're dreading 30 so much. It's when things started getting good for me. (Which gives my 24-year-old classmate Alex great hope. She still wishes she were 16.)
